• Wanted to try out some ZIPP wheels at a race or for training?
 • Wondered what a solid disk rear wheel would feel like but don't want to have to purchase one in case you didn't like it?
 • Wished you didn't have to pack and travel with your race wheels, and could just pick them up at your destination?
 • Thought about hiring a PowerTap Monitor, VR Wind-Trainer, Bike Case?
 • Looked for a gift for someone who "has everything" (except race wheels)?

Well the above have all become easier thanks to Elite Race Rentals Australia (www.eliteracerentals.com.au

They deliver to a bike shop (ideal for traveling so you can pick the wheels up at your destination). They also have an affiliate in New Zealand that you can order from in case you happen to be racing in NZ.

Our club has affiliated with this company so be sure to indicate you were referred to by Tri-Fit Triathlon Club.
Anyone who mentions our club on a rental may be eligible for further discounts from Tri-Fit (email Tri-Fit for details)
This applies to non-members as well as members.

I also have a few 10% discount coupons (on wheel rentals only, valid until 30-Sep-12).
If interested let me know so we organise for you to receive your discount.

Contact Elite Race Rental Australia directly regarding rental queries.

<![CDATA[2012 Update]]> Happy New Year and welcome to 2012!

The Calendar has been updated with a number of triathlon and running events for the remainder of the season to help you plan for the next few months. While some events are 'full' (Mooloolaba, Bryon Bay), there are many other events you can still get into.

If you are considering in competing at the 2012 World Championships in your Age Group (aged as at 31-Dec-2012), there is still time to earn selection points.
Australia can send up to 20 per age group (Male and Female), and not everyone in the top 20 will want to go so the positions 'roll down' to those who are able to attend. Don't count yourself out unless you try!

See * Note
* Note: The Auckland Age Group races are currently scheduled for Monday, October 22

The Spain and France teams are unlikely to be full so the selection process will be a formality.

The Auckland Olympic Distance (and to a lesser extent Sprint Distance) will be full in a number of Age Group categories so in order to represent Australia you will need plan your selection races accordingly.

The upcoming selection races for the Olympic and Sprint Distance events are shown below.

Please visit the Triathlon Australia website for details on the selection policy and processes and any updates:
